What we do with the information
We require this information so that we can monitor how long you have had your account and to remind you of your renewal date. We do not hold any personal financial information as all payments are made via PayPal.

Your information will be stored in the secure management area of the Scanotes website which is currently hosted by a third-party provider, Hero IT Support. They will also observe best practice security measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, improper alteration or unauthorised disclosure. Scanotes may re-locate the website to another third-party without sending you prior notice but will always endeavour to ensure best data protection practice.
How long we will keep your personal data for
We will retain your personal data for the duration of your Scanotes account. Your entire account, with everything you have ever saved to it, will be permanently deleted if it is not renewed.
Access to your personal information
You have a legal right to see what personal information we hold on you. This is called a Subject Access Request. By law we have a maximum of one month to deliver the information from the date on which we receive the Subject Access Request. There is no charge to access your personal details.
If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible. We will promptly amend any information found to be incorrect.
